The technique used to wedge the legs into the seat is a traditional technique by hand, done the same way it has been for centuries. It creates a very sturdy joint without any screws or fixings. Combined with high quality and beautiful quarter sawn English Oak, this stool is something that will be in your family for generations.

  • Each piece is protected using a hard wax oil that is carefully rubbed in by hand. This is a natural finish which offers a very high level of protection and a low gloss finish. Any spillages simply require a wipe with a warm damp cloth as soon as possible.

  • Being a natural material, variations in the tones of the wood and the grain patterns are to be expected. This is one of the many benefits of solid wood furniture, making your piece completely unique to you.

  • As this piece is free standing there are no fitting instructions. Optiional felt pads will be provided for floor protection.
